This oil sketch was done yesterday afternoon- spent the morning trying to paint boats in green Harbor- impossible. Two wipe outs!
Boats are like animals- they move a lot.
So this is it for my painting attempts of that day.
I am closing in on my 365, hard to believe!

Wish I could've seen the wipe outs. I wish also that I could wipe out (and make less precious) more of my canvases! I like this one of green harbor. it looks very lush and pulls me right in.
