Gratitude #24

I've borrowed many an egg or cup of sugar from my neighbors. There have been many comings and goings of dear neighbors in the 21 years we've lived on our street. Neighbors are special kinds of friends.

what is 365 flowers all about?

I started 365 Flowers in late summer of 2009 as a way to motivate and challenge myself to paint everyday, and incorporate flowers into my painting.
I achieved my goal and am still painting , not always flowers, but turn back to them often as a source of inspiration. On January 1, 2013, I joined Lesle Saeta's 30 day challenge and am doing a daily painting on watercolor paper of things I am grateful for. .. I might keep going to 365 as I keep thinking of more things.

Blogging is a wonderful window to the world of other artists and art appreciators and a way to keep in touch. I appreciate all the comments and emails so much- it truly keeps me going!
