This is my submission for the "Girls Just Wanna Paint" challenge- this month's theme is lamps or light-so I painted this little ceramic dellarobia lamp with a couple of books. The background and table top is tapestry fabric- might be a little busy.
I was trying to capture the feeling of light, not sure I am happy with it, but it was fun to do.
Here's a picture my friend and neighbor Tori took on our walk to the creek today.
We call it the "fairy bower"- I love it's gothic arched entrance.
