New Britain mystery girl 5" x 8 " pencil on paper

Or is it a boy?

On our way back home  from NYC today Al and I stopped in  the New Britain Museum of American Art in Connecticutt. There was an exhibit of amazing huge tree drawings by Sandra Allen- the mother of one of my Derby summer art campers.
I stealthily snapped a picture of this painting in one of the other galleries with my cell phone and used the image to draw this in the car on route 84 ( Don't worry- Al was driving!). Sorry, I neglected to get the artists name, I should know it- but I dont!
