stuff in studio

I am going to paint one of my funky Humarock studies on this 30" square canvas- I have not painted big in a while  and I am excited! This is a red primed canvas with charcoal. I will outline tomorrow. Acrylic under and then paint. Painting big can be the same as small if you use bigger brushes and stand back a lot- but it is a challenge to jump scale sometimes.
I will post my progress.

This is a copy ( on the left) of a painting (on right) I did last fall.
I am painting from my painting- which is fun and again- challenging.
I am painting both of these as commisions.
Spring seems to be here- it was 55 degrees here today!

Yay for spring...looking forward to the progress of your large painting. Painting from a painting is challenging, as I don't seem to have much luck painting the same piece agai.
