"Have a cuppa tea" 8"x8" oil on panel

Totally inspired by Kelley MacDonalds red rose tea painting she showed at the blogging night last night.
We had a great turn out and it was informative and fun.
I found this teacup and saucer at the dump last week- it has "MDF" for the monogram- that cracks me up because it stands for "medium density fiberboard"
Tough ellipses here- my nemesis-but it was still fun to paint.

You got the ellipses just right. It's beautiful. Can't wait to join the club ;)
