This is another big one- 42"x47" acrylic on paper. I'm finding that painting big is a blast- but the framing is a challenge and costly.
I made in error in yesterdays post- I did NOT have an opening at the Pembroke Public Library so you missed nothing. You can still see the show but it ends tomorrow afternoon !

Good Intentions
Well... I really thought I would be painting interiors all month- but as it turned out I didn't- not for lack of wanting to but simply because I went into another mode- I signed on to do a show at the Marshfield Public Library this May with my friend Kris Brennen- and we have been having a lot of fun working on a menagerie of critters. It's so fun to work big- the small paintings will just have to wait!
This one was inspired by the book "The Soul of an Octopus" by Cy Montgomery. I was so moved by that book. I now need to go to the Aquarium to see one!
SO sorry if you sat by your computer waiting for me to post interiors -
Happy End of January to all!
42"x47" charcoal and ink on paper
PS- only a few more days to see my exhibit at the Pembroke Library- it comes down the 31. Don't think you missed the opening because I did not have one!

I think it's time...
To take it down...
I love the tree- we had a fake one for years but are back to the real- we were super late getting this one- the 21st!- but it was quite fresh and only $14.99!
I reward myself when all the decorations are put away with some white flowers . I leave some white lights up and around the house too .
