layered dream 8'' x 6 '' oil on panel

This is for my girls just wanna paint challenge - this months theme was dreaming. I feel like I have been painting dreamlike all month anyway, but this was inspired by looking at a Japanese print. I did the sky and bird in acrylic , then layered oil over it. Dreams are layered. It was interesting (and challenging) to try to paint a feeling, not a thing.

I think I have more to do on it.
