Tulip and some kind of flower that i don't know the name of

My neighbor gave me the yellow flower ( Tori whats it called?)

It has filled out nicely and has a lovely blossom.

I was up at 3:45 AM- couldn't sleep - so I got up and went out to the studio. It was great to be out there working- so quiet. Lots accomplished- I even cleaned my attic! It was cool and cloudy and I kept waiting for the rain-but it never came!

I did this little 8"x8" study in the afternoon- I was SO tired by then, but I am glad I did it.

I do hope it rains tomorrow-gently-I planted lettuce in my garden and I want it to germinate.  of course I COULD water it...
