Jackies house

I'm a little behind in posting. Things have been busy. I did this one in late June- across the common in Norwell center looking at my friend Jackie Jordan's house. It was done around 8 am before I went to work- light is best then- or late afternoon.The shadows captivated me- both on the house and on the grass. I love summer and it's lushness.

what is 365 flowers all about?

I started 365 Flowers in late summer of 2009 as a way to motivate and challenge myself to paint everyday, and incorporate flowers into my painting.
I achieved my goal and am still painting , not always flowers, but turn back to them often as a source of inspiration. On January 1, 2013, I joined Lesle Saeta's 30 day challenge and am doing a daily painting on watercolor paper of things I am grateful for. .. I might keep going to 365 as I keep thinking of more things.

Blogging is a wonderful window to the world of other artists and art appreciators and a way to keep in touch. I appreciate all the comments and emails so much- it truly keeps me going!
