aloha tuesday

My morning job is to fill the baby chicks feed and water.There are 29 of them.

Its been lovely to see them grow.

 Cluster of lemons. Can't keep up with them. I also love picking and juicing up oranges for my morning drink.

 My paper mach'e duck.
There are no ducks on this farm, but Jan has a cool painting of ducks so I was inspired.
Dad finds the chickens annoying cause they dig up the plants and make a mess.
They lay a lot of eggs though and Jan sells out at farmers market- $6. a dozen!
I think they would also be great stewed...or slow bbq'ed
