Kites for a windy day !

Today we had kite making at the Art Complex- lots of family fun- great to see so many Dads with their kids having fun together making these simple kites.  I got the instructions on line from a Hawaiian kite company on the island of Molokai. They were easily made from an ordinary sheet of typing paper.. instructions here
We had a surprise visit from  guest kite maker- Glen Davison- kitemaker extrordinairre- he showed us lots of teeny tiny kites he makes that fly inside-It was fun!

I did a little bit on my big canvas when i got home.
